As highlighted at our recent AGM, on 8th February 2020, we are holding a half day workshop (followed by dinner) to equip and celebrate all our amazing Rivers leaders and volunteers.

Where: At the church
Workshop: 12 - 6pm (afternoon tea provided)
Celebration: 6 - 8pm (dinner provided)
Who should come? Everyone is welcome, but if you are in leadership (ministry team, board, elders and ministry leaders/coordinators) or you volunteer in any of our ministries, then please make attending a priority.
The workshop will be about safe church awareness and will equip us all to ensure we are caring for and serving people well by providing safe people, places and programs and is necessary for us to meet our insurance and legal obligations. Bonnie Seip from Churches of Christ in Queensland will be facilitating for us and it is an interactive workshop (you even get a certificate!).
We will follow this with a dinner and time of worship, fellowship and celebration
